The Georgian Bar Association celebrates its 20th anniversary and Lawyer’s Day on November 8! In honor of these milestone dates, a ceremony for the swearing-in of lawyers was held at the Association. Nearly 150 graduates of the professional adaptation program took the professional oath. The Chairman of the Bar Association, Davit Asatiani, congratulated the newly admitted lawyers on entering the profession and presented them with certificates and lawyer’s credentials.

A summary meeting was held at the Georgian Bar Association with the graduates of the sectoral specialization courses. The courses were conducted in two areas: “Construction and Architectural Law”, in which 22 lawyers were granted the status of specialized lawyers in the field, and “Tax Law”, after the completion of which 10 lawyers received the same specialization status.

A cooperation agreement has been signed between the Georgian Bar Association and the European Public Law Organization (EPLO).
