Kakha Kozhoridze

Executive Board Member

On December 21, 2025, Kakha Kojoridze was elected as a member of the Executive Council of the Georgian Bar Association by the decision of the Association’s General Assembly.

Kakha has a successful professional career spanning 16 years.

From 2015 to 2018, he served as Legal Advisor to the President of Georgia.

Since 2006, he has been a member of the Georgian Bar Association.

From 2007 to 2014, he worked at the Young Lawyers’ Association of Georgia (GYLA) in various positions, first as a lawyer and later as Director of the Legal Aid Center.

From 2012 to 2014, he was elected Chairperson of GYLA for two consecutive terms. Kakha Kojoridze has also served as a member of the State Constitutional Commission of Georgia and as Chair of a coalition of over 30 NGOs working on judicial reform.

He has lectured at various universities and conducted training sessions for lawyers under a joint European Union and United Nations project.

Kakha is the Managing Partner and Director of the law firm “Kojoridze & Lawyers.”

Education
Kakha Kojoridze holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he studied under the Chevening Programme, funded by the UK Government.

Prior to that, in 2005, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 2005–2006, he also attended the law program at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).
