The Georgian-German legal forum - "Sharing the best experience on the path of Georgia's integration with the European Union" was opened in Tbilisi with the participation of representatives of the Georgian Bar Association. The forum is organized by the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and Germany.
In the opening part of the two-day forum, the participants were addressed by the Chairman of the Georgan Bar Association Davit Asatiani, the Minister of Justice Rati Bregadze, the State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Justice of Germany Angelika Schlunk, the Prosecutor General of Georgia Irakli Shotadze and the Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Anri Okhanashvili.
The Vice President of the European Union Agency "Eurojust" Boshtian Shkrlets, members of the legislative and judicial authorities, representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, Bar Association, Penitentiary Service and representatives of the academic field also participate in the event.
The legal forum aims to bring the legal systems of the two countries closer together and strengthen the field of law.
