The Georgian Bar Association hosted the closing event of the theoretical phase of the Professional Adaptation Programme for lawyers, during which nearly 150 participants were awarded certificates of completion.
The certificates were presented by the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, who congratulated the participants and wished them success in the next, practical stage of the programme. The event was also attended by the trainers of the Professional Adaptation Programme.
The Professional Adaptation Programme is designed for lawyers who have successfully passed the Bar Qualification Examination. The programme consists of two stages: a theoretical course and a practical component. Upon completing the theoretical phase, participants will undertake a nine-month internship under the supervision of a mentor lawyer. After successfully completing all stages of the programme, they will be eligible for membership in the Georgian Bar Association and will be able to commence their professional practice as advocates.
The Professional Adaptation Programme aims to deepen the professional knowledge of future advocates, strengthen their practical skills, and promote high ethical standards in the legal profession.
