I believe that it is critical for the process of strengthening the independence of the judiciary and the quality of the judiciary to actively hear the voices of the legal profession in the High Council of Justice.
It is important that at this stage of this post-EU mediation agreement on judicial reform, the Georgian Parliament take into account the special role of the Bar Association in the justice system, and that the selection of non-judicial members of the High Council of Justice .
With regard to other issues of building an independent and quality justice system, the Bar Association is presenting a concrete reform plan in the near future, which I am confident will make a significant contribution to the development of people-centered justice.
