A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Georgian Bar Association and the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia. The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, and the Head of the Insurance State Supervision Service, Davit Onoprishvili.

The memorandum was signed during an event dedicated to Insurance Day, organized by the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia within the framework of Insurance Week.

The memorandum provides for enhancing lawyers’ professional knowledge and qualifications in the field of insurance law, as well as planning joint educational and professional activities, ensuring the systematic dissemination of information on ongoing reforms and developments in the insurance sector, sharing experience among professional circles, and deepening cooperation.

The event was attended by representatives of the executive and legislative authorities, as well as representatives of the insurance sector, regulatory bodies, and experts.
