The Chairperson of the Bar Association met with the Senior Justice Advisor of the U.S. Embassy’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), Michael Vasko, and Political Officer Kerry McIntosh. Irakli Kandashvili hosted the program representatives at the Association’s office.

During the meeting, they discussed the many years of active cooperation between the Bar Association and the INL Bureau, and reviewed important projects implemented by the Association with the support of the INL Bureau for the development of the legal profession. Among these were initiatives aimed at strengthening the jury trial system in the country and raising public awareness. The parties also welcomed opportunities for future cooperation.
