A summary meeting was held at the Georgian Bar Association with the graduates of the sectoral specialization courses.

The courses were conducted in two areas: “Construction and Architectural Law”, in which 22 lawyers were granted the status of specialized lawyers in the field, and “Tax Law”, after the completion of which 10 lawyers received the same specialization status.

During the closing event, the graduates were awarded certificates by David Asatiani, President of the Georgian Bar Association, and Giorgi Khubua, Director of the Georgian-German Institute of Law.

David Asatiani congratulated the lawyers on the successful completion of their specialization programs and discussed future plans, including an upcoming study visit to Germany, which will be organized in the near future.

The Georgian Bar Association, in partnership with the Institute for Advocacy Law at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Georgian-German Institute of Law, has launched the implementation of a sectoral specialization system for lawyers. This system is based on the principle of voluntariness and aims to provide lawyers and legal professionals with in-depth qualifications in various specific areas of law.

It should be noted that registration is currently open for the next specialization course — “Law of Economic Crimes.”
