“Freedom of Association in Labor Relations and the Right to Strike” – A public lecture for lawyers by Jeffrey Voeth, Director of the Rule of Law Program at the Solidarity Center (USA), was held at the Georgian Bar Association.
The participants were welcomed by David Asatiani, Chair of the Georgian Bar Association; Jeffrey Voeth, Director of the Rule of Law Program at the Solidarity Center (USA); and Tamar Gabisonia, Chair of the Labor Law Committee of the Bar Association.
During the working meeting, attendees discussed issues related to labor relations and the right to strike, including international practice, the ongoing case concerning the right to strike, collective bargaining, and the protection of employees' rights in the context of freedom of association, among others.
The meeting was organized with the support of the Solidarity Center’s Rule of Law Program (USA).
