Another regional working meeting of the Juvenile Justice Coordination Council (Bench-Bar) was held in Kutaisi.

The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Bar Association, Davit Asatiani, and representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia and the Council of Europe.

In the round table format, lawyers, judges and prosecutors stood together at the investigative and procedural stages and discussed the challenge of measures against the affected children and, at the same time, discussed the problems in the context of the Imereti region.

In relation to the discussed challenges, the bench-bar participants developed recommendations that will be forwarded to the Steering Committee of the Justice Coordinating Council for further consideration and dissemination.
