On February 26, the Chairman of Georgian Bar Association – Zaza Khatiashvili has arranged a business
meeting with the expert –Mike Hion regarding the acting plan of visa liberalization. Discussions focused
on the guarantees of fundamental human rights and freedoms protection, foreigners’ rights and their
defense issues in the court. Mr. Zaza Khatiashvii has informed the guest about the mission of GBA, its
activities and implemented projects. The Chairman claimed: “In order to ensure the guarantees of
fundamental human rights and freedoms protection, it is very important, that questioning a witness in
court in time to be enforced”.
