The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, met with the Senior Adviser of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Vladimir Shkolnikov, and the Representative of the Office in Georgia, Bessarion Bokhashvili.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for future cooperation between the Georgian Bar Association and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN OHCHR), particularly in the area of educational initiatives.
Irakli Kandashvili emphasized the importance of cooperation with international partners in the process of the institutional development of the Georgian Bar Association, with a special focus on strengthening professional standards and expanding educational opportunities.
The representatives of the United Nations expressed their readiness to provide active support and cooperation aimed at the further strengthening of the Association.
