The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Khandashvili, met with David Simonia, Head of the Legal Aid Service. The meeting took place at the offices of the Bar Association.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the specifics of the work of the Bar Association and the Legal Aid Service, ongoing projects, and opportunities for deepening future cooperation. Special attention was given to the importance of close and effective collaboration between the institutions.

The Bar Association and the Legal Aid Service have implemented numerous joint projects in the past. The bilateral cooperation focuses on the protection of human rights, the strengthening of the legal profession, and the promotion of an independent and high-quality justice system.
