A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Georgian Bar Association and the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (Sakpatenti). The memorandum was signed by Irakli Kandashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, and Soso Giorgadze, Chairman of Sakpatenti.

The memorandum provides for various joint activities in the fields of education, research, and professional development. These include the organization of conferences, workshops, training sessions, seminars, and public lectures on current issues related to intellectual property. The agreement also encompasses initiatives aimed at enhancing the qualifications of lawyers, patent attorneys, and other interested professionals, as well as strengthening cooperation with international and donor organizations.

The purpose of this cooperation is to contribute to the strengthening of the intellectual property protection system in Georgia, the enhancement of professional qualifications, and the effective response to contemporary challenges in the field.
