The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association is visiting Baku at the official invitation of the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Bar Association. Within the framework of the visit, Irakli Kandashvili, together with the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Bar Association, Anar Bagirov, met with the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan, Kamran Aliyev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strategic cooperation between the two countries and the development of legal systems. They also emphasized the importance of international cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of the involvement of lawyers, law enforcement agencies, and judicial institutions in ensuring reliable and high-quality justice.

As part of the visit, Irakli Kandashvili was hosted at the historical museum of the Prosecutor’s Office.
