The Georgian Bar Association was visited for an introductory meeting by the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Mr. Faig Guliyev.

During the working meeting, Ambassador Guliyev congratulated lawyer Irakli Kandashvili on his election as Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, noting the high level of trust expressed by Georgian lawyers, and wished him success in his responsible role.

The Ambassador emphasized the important role of the legal profession in ensuring a trustworthy and effective justice system in the country. He also noted that his previous close cooperation with the newly elected Chairman, in his former capacity as Chairman of the Mediators Association, would significantly contribute to further strengthening cooperation between the legal professions of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Irakli Kandashvili thanked the Ambassador of Azerbaijan for the visit and the appreciation shown, and highlighted the importance of cooperation between the legal professions of the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness for mutual engagement in the process of deepening cooperation and agreed to plan joint activities in the future.
