The Georgian Bar Association welcomed the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Georgia, Mr. Veselin Valkanov, on a courtesy visit.

During the working meeting, Ambassador Valkanov congratulated Irakli Kandashvili on his election as Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association and wished him success in his future endeavors. The Ambassador also emphasized the important role of the legal profession in ensuring a trustworthy and effective justice system.

Irakli Kandashvili introduced the Ambassador to the organizational structure of the Georgian Bar Association, its key areas of activity, and the specifics of its work.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen future cooperation between the bar associations of the two countries. The cooperation will include joint conferences, training programs, and the exchange of professional experience.
